Eau Thermale Avene Thermal Spring Water Gets Approved by the Canadian Dermatology Association

I still remember the first time I tried spring water spray. It seems so luxurious and special.  It was at a Ball and they had these glam girls lined up before the red carpet and they were “spraying” guests (with their permission). I was a bit nervous they would mess up my hair and make-up.  Like I never quite understood hair bars and nail bars at some parties because I did all that before coming, but then again, you can never have too much pampering…

But I digress.  Back to Spring Water Spray.  While I was fascinated and enjoyed the luxe feel, I never really took it very seriously as a product product. Meaning, it wasn’t on my must-buy list or a skincare staple.

Latest news is that Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray is now the FIRST and ONLY thermal spring water approved by the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) and is sold in drugstores nationwide, pricing 50 ml spray: $9.70; 150 ml spray: $16.2;  300 ml spray: $21.75.

Avène Thermal Spring Water has been around since 1743 and its “unique composition is clinically shown by over 150 studies to calm, soothe and soften the skin” and now in Thermal Spring Water form is not only approved by the CDA but is advertised as ideal for “red, sensitive or irritated skin and perfect for post-workout, travel, outdoor activities or to freshen up makeup.”

I wondered, what else can I use it for:

Eau Thermale Avene Thermal Spring Water is so soothing and it feels like magic on the skin.  With all the harsh elements, particularly in winter, it’s something very special to add to your skincare routine.
